If you need to delete the book, perhaps for storage reasons, you can download a copy from iCloud by going to the 'List' tab in iBooks and tapping on the Cloud icon next to the book.Īll your purchases of books, etc., from Apple are recorded through your Apple ID. If you have enabled iCloud for your devices, a copy will also be stored in your iCloud account. See Apple's website under support for more information about setting this up. Several devices can be associated with the one Apple ID.
If you have set it up, anything you add to the book on one device, such as bookmarks and notes, should propagate to all the other devices associated with the same Apple ID. If you have other Apple devices associated with the same Apple ID, they will download the book when they are on-line. Once it has downloaded, you can read it immediately. Click OK to complete the purchase, and the book will start downloading immediately.

You will be asked if you really want to buy this book, and it remind you of the hardware and software requirements. To buy the book, click or tap the "Buy Book" button, circled in the image below.

The button will change to read "Downloading" and you will have the sample appear in a window on the Mac desktop, or open full-screen on iPads and iPhones.Ħ.
